High Country RV Park can be found in the southwestern Colorado town of Naturita (Indian for "Little Nature"), along the majestic and scenic Highway 141.
As you head south on Scenic Byway 141 from Highway 50 (near Grand Junction),
the only things changed by human hands
are a few ranches, the small community of Gateway, and the highway you're
driving on.
This is truly a bit of Colorado's last frontier. The scenic grandeur
of this area, which has been compared to the Grand Canyon, can be enjoyed
from the comfort of your R.V., rather than the back of a mule! It's
a journey approximately 100 miles through Unaweep Canyon--with not one
stop sign or traffic light from Whitewater to
Naturita.

If you want city lights and night life, rather than nature's beauty and
peacefulness, don't come here. There are thousands of acres of public
lands available for your enjoyment. Some of the greatest hiking, riding
trails, and rock climbing experiences
are just minutes away. You can also enjoy fishing, trophy mule deer and
elk hunting (unit 61), Indian artifact hunting, 4-wheeling, cross-country
skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking, rafting, birdwatching and just being in
the great outdoors.
There is something for everyone, from the serious outdoorsman to the whole family.
